The IBI Genomic DNA kit for blood and cultured cells is specially designed for purification of total DNA, including genomic, mitochondrial, and viral from different volumes of blood and cultured cells. In this procedure, RBC Lysis buffer is used to remove non-nucleated red blood cells and reduce hemoglobin contamination.
