IBI Tryptose Broth 500g
IBI's Trypose Phosphate Broth is a medium
recommended for the cultivation of fastidious micro organisms. Trypose phosphate broth is a buffered broth which can support the growth of fastidious streptococci and meningococci.
The addition of 0.1 agar concentration can aid
in the recovery of obligate anacrobes. Trypose peptone and dextose are a source of carbon, organic nitrogen, and energy. Sodium chloride contributes to osmonic equilibrium, and disodium phosphate is a buffering agent.
